Clinical Research Coordinators
CFRI provides professional development and networking opportunities for clinical research coordinators and other staff involved in clinical research at the Children's and Women's Health Centre of British Columbia.
CRC Lunch and Learn
The CRC Lunch and Learn sessions are held monthly between September and June. The purpose of these sessions is to provide an education forum specific to clinical research. The sessions also provide an opportunity for coordinators to network with others involved in clinical research.

Clinical Research Professional Development (CRPD) Program
The CRPD is an education initiative led by a group of individuals committed to developing a program that supports the professional development of clinical research coordinators from the Lower Mainland's teaching hospitals' research institutes.
The CRPD Resources document was produced by the CRPD team and provides professional development resources for clinical research coordinators and includes the workshops that will be offered in 2010-2011.

Seminars and Workshops
A variety of seminars and workshops are organized throughout the year on topics relevant to clinical research including Good Clinical Practice, and Qualitative Inquiry. In addition, sessions are offered in fall (or as needed) on preparing ethics submissions.
How to Prepare Your Ethics Submission - a 1-hour seminar that guides participants through the process of submitting an ethics application.
RISe Tutorials (in conjunction with UBC ORS) - a 2-hour interactive session on the UBC RISe system.
