Graduate Students

The Child & Family Research Institute is committed to the research education needs of master’s and doctoral students.

Workshops organized through the Research Education Office are offered on an annual basis and/or as required based on the needs of the current trainee population.  The workshops are grouped into three areas:  Research Skills, Academic Development, and Professional Life Skills.

The Research Education Outreach (REO) Committee also organizes several research events each year; an annual networking event for trainees, and an education outreach event for high school students.Additional information, including workshop curriculum, is available in the CFRI Trainee Handbook. Registration for upcoming workshops is available on the event calendar.

If you have any feedback or suggestions related to research education please contact your REO cluster representative or the Research Education Office at
